This journal has been relocated to LJ because:
The early entries all have unusual posting times, but that's because I manually copy+pasted each and every entry from my previous host to here. I found out that most of my entries there were "edited" somehow (even ones I hadn't edited after initial posting), so the original time of posting was lost forever. In fact, only one post showed the original posting time. For all others, I backdated to the correct day and set the time to 0:00.
I also copy+pasted all the comments from there to here, and found out a couple of interesting things about LiveJournal comments (at least anonymous ones):
- they randomly (as in about half the time) get forced to enter some text to prove they aren't spam-bots
- despite a flawless Preview, hyperlinks get butchered mercilessly on Submit
So I eventually gave up trying to preserve the comments exactly as they were. Hope that is alright with everyone (feel free to re-enter your comments if you want, and I'll delete the corresponding anonymous posts).
All future posts of such a personal nature will be done here.

- Image hosting - okay, this requires a paid account which I'm not ready to do yet.
UPDATE: Thanks to a super-fantabulous anonymous donor I can do a year's worth of pic hosting! - Conversations - when people comment on an entry, it is really nice to have threaded replies so you can easily see who is talking to whom.
- Persistence - if I don't post for a year, I can come back and post again without a problem.
